The customer ships tank containers loaded with high-pressure gas imported to ports in the Kanto and Kansai regions throughout Japan. High pressure gas import inspections are required before delivery.

However, as inspection dates and times were limited, and there were also limits on storage locations and deadlines, planning delivery schedules smoothly was difficult.

They were aware that handling in Japan will be limited due to it being special cargo. However, they wanted to work smoothly so they asked us if there was a way to work without any limits on storage periods and with easy adjustment of inspection dates.

Our facilities have been able to carry out high pressure gas import inspections and storage since 2020. There is no limit on the storage period. As for inspection dates and times too, if the inspector’s schedule is free, one can be arranged without specifying the date and time.

Using our facilities in the Chubu region, which is close to the middle of Japan, also led to reducing the delivery distance from Kanto to Kansai and vice versa. We proposed that we could carry out high-pressure gas inspection arrangements, import customs clearance, delivery and storage if needed and simplify their work.

Removing the limits on inspection dates and storage periods reduced the burden of schedule management and the customer can now make relaxed arrangements.

In addition, even if irregular handling is required when transporting from a container terminal, we can arrange a driver who knows the container terminal well, which leads to safe work.

By delivering from the Chubu region, we are contributing to reductions in driver management work and delivery costs.
