Container terminal work

At Port of Nagoya’s major terminals, we manage the series of flows totally so that customers’ cargo can be exported or imported safely and accurately. When exporting, we carry out work from bringing cargo into the container terminal to storage until shipping and ship loading. When importing, we carry out work from the acceptance of cargo from container ships to handover to the specified contractor after storing cargo appropriately in the terminal yard. What kind of state is customers’ cargo currently in and when can it be exported or imported? We acquire and manage the latest information at all times in accordance with the changing situation, and support customers’ export and import work based on appropriate work instructions.

We implement the container management work essential to marine and land transportation, including container maintenance (repairs) and arrangements for storage. We carry out historical data entry work and the management ancillary to that so that we can grasp the most recent situation and make it possible for customers to confirm where their containers are now. Further, if there is any damage to containers, cargo could be damaged by the infiltration of rain or seawater during transportation, so we also arrange repairs through meetings with shipping companies and container lease companies.
